Miami City Ballet

The Miami City Ballet is a dance company founded in 1985 by Toby Lerner Ansin, a Miami philanthropist. The Miami City Ballet’s mission is to produce the highest level of dance performances, train young aspiring dancers, and to position Miami City Ballet School as a leader of dance education. With more than 40 dancers and a repertoire of over 90 ballets, The New York Times hails the Miami City Ballet School as “One of America’s beloved dance companies.”

Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami

Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami was founded by Pedro Pablo Pena in 2006. This is South Florida’s only dance company that commits to the legacy of Cuban Ballet by focusing on the classical ballet repertoire. Their mission is to promote and preserve this Cuban legacy for future generations. The Peter London Global Dance Company

The Peter London Global Dance Company was established to celebrate and share the rich and diverse cultural heritage with people of all ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. It is also charged with increasing awareness of our cultural similarities, global dance and music traditions. By doing so it is their goal to train and educate local dancers and cultivate choreographers. Peter London Global Dance Company is an artist in residence at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex.

Momentum Dance Company

Momentum Dance Company is one of Florida’s oldest dance companies. Momentum thrives in producing dance expression in an uninhibited form. Founder/Artistic Director Delma Iles has successfully crafted an interpretation of art through dance in a classic and historic viewpoint. Momentum’s goals are to educate and advance professional development through the use of modern dance. Momentum is known for its Miami Dance Festival, concert performances, children’s series, classes and open rehearsals. It is located in the cultural and arts district of Coconut Grove.

IFE-ILE Dance Company

IFE-ILE Dance Company is the artistic expression of the Afro-Cuban culture through dance . This non-profit is dedicated to the preservation, promotion and advancement of Afro-Cuban dance. It is a renowned dance troupe famous for its traditional Afro-Cuban dances, Mambo, Rumba, Conga, Chancleta, Son, Salas and ritual dances of the Orishas. IFE-ILE is committed to educate and engage audiences so that guests walk away with learnings in the rich folkloric traditions of Afro-Cubans.

Ballet Flamenco La Rosa

Ballet Flamenco La Rosa is a professional international Flamenco dance company comprised of dancers and musicians from Spain, Latin America as well as the United States. This unique leadership births a wide range of pure Flamenco programs and cutting edge fusion works, collaborations and dramatic Flamenco Ballets. Dance classes for all ages are offered in Flamenco, Salsa, Afro-Haitian, Ballet, Jazz/Hip-Hop, Belly Dance and more.

Dance Now! Miami

Dance Now! Miami was founded by Artistic Directors Hannah Baumgarten and Diego Salterini in 2000. This leading dance company was established to promote and foster contemporary dance through performances, arts, education, community leadership and artistic collaborations. Dance Now! Miami has made it their mission to make the art of dance accessible to diverse audiences locally, nationally and internationally.
