The Thorn

A large-scale theatrical production combines movement, aerial work and dramatic visual effects to portray a story drawn from Christian scripture.

The Thorn comes to the Adrienne Arsht Center April 2-4, presenting an immersive staging that depicts themes of love, sacrifice and redemption through music, choreography, acrobatics and special effects. The production has been performed for more than 25 years and incorporates sequences that highlight the spiritual conflict at the center of its narrative.

The experience includes strobe lighting, loud music, low fog and other atmospheric elements, and is recommended for ages 12 and older. All attendees require a ticket for entry.
