Curtis Lundy Quartet
Feb 15, 2026
Starting: 5:00 PM
A live jazz performance brings the Curtis Lundy Quartet to Lummus Park on Miami Beach as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a free weekly concert series presented by the Ocean Drive Association.
Taking place Sunday, February 15, the early evening set features Miami-born bassist, composer and Grammy-nominated recording artist Curtis Lundy, whose career spans decades at the forefront of modern jazz. Best known for his work with legendary vocalist Betty Carter, Lundy is widely respected for his robust, lyrical approach to the acoustic bass and his ability to “lead from the front,” whether interpreting standards, original compositions or selections from the American Songbook. His playing is marked by fluid voicings, rhythmic dexterity and a deep sense of musical conversation.
Held outdoors in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place, the concert invites audiences to relax on the lawn with a picnic blanket or chair while enjoying live jazz along Ocean Drive. In the event of rain, the performance will move indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
The Promenade Sunday Concert Series takes place every Sunday and is free and open to the public, with generous support from the City of Miami Beach, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Ocean Drive Association.
