VIC Scholarships

Investing in Miami's Future Hospitality

Thank you for your interest in the Visitor Industry Council (VIC) Scholarship Program.

Open enrollment for the program is now closed and will open again in January of 2027. 

We encourage you to reapply at that time.

Please read the following before continuing.

VIC funds scholarships in Aviation Administration, Culinary Arts, Hospitality & Tourism Management and Sports Management at the following schools: Florida International University, Florida Memorial University, Miami Dade College, and St. Thomas University.

The VIC program provides career development and guidance through workshops, mentoring, and exclusive invitations. The scholarship covers tuition and eligible academic fees (does not cover housing, meals, or personal expenses). Awardees are expected to commit to work in the industry. 

It is important to read about the history of VIC and the requirements for the scholarship program.

If your application is accepted, you will be scheduled for an interview with the VIC scholarship committee at the offices of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) located in Downtown Miami.
