Business Recovery Assistance

Food and Meal Delivery Assistance

  • Feeding South Florida's new COVID-19 Response Fund has been launched to help support those in need. Serves Miami Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe County. Includes benefit application assistance, access to food pantry and home delivery for qualified individuals, etc.Visit: Feeding South Florida to apply.
  • The Greater Miami Jewish Federation's JCS Kosher Food Bank is open and providing drive thru-style style services. If interested in kosher meals, visit JCS Kosher Food Bank to apply. To make an appointment and to check the bank’s operating hours, call (305) 947-8093.
  • The Greater Miami Jewish Federation Emergency Hotline- for emergency counseling, financial aid, food, domestic abuse assistance and other services. (305) 576-6550
  • Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami are offering “elderly service program” to those in need and >60 years old via delivery meals to home. Need to be registered in the program. Call (305) 757-6241 for more info.
  • Miami-Dade County School Districts are distributing meals to their students and families. Check with your local school for more information and exact distribution times/sites.
  • Summer BreakSpot will provide students in Florida public schools free or reduced lunches.
  • Takeout and delivery options are available from many of our local restaurants can be found in the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau's Miami Eats program.
  • Delivery Apps are available and a great way for customers to order food through apps like DoorDash, Postmates, Uber Eats and Grubhub.

Internet and Telephone Services

  • Many popular phone companies such as Verizon, Xfinity, AT&T and T-Mobile are offering unlimited data plan, waiving late fees, and opening up Wifi hotspots across for the next 60 days. Check with your provider for more information.

  • 211 Helpline If you need assistance finding food and/or basic essentials, housing, health care, senior services, child care, and additional services. Call 211 to speak with someone who can help speak with you and connect with services/ assistance available to our community.

  • Elder Helpline (305) 670-4357 (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Domestic Violence Hotline 1(800) 962-2873
  • YMCA Schools-Out Select YMCA’s in Miami Date and Broward are providing child care services for kids of first responders, health care workers and city and county staffers. Some YMCA’s may have a broader criteria.
