The state-of-the-art Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC), located in the heart of the Miami Beach City Center District and Miami Beach Convention Center District, was recently awarded GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation, supporting comprehensive cleaning and disinfection protocols with third-party validation. In addition, MBCC achieved the LEED Silver Certification during the venue’s expansion project, which includes numerous environmentally-friendly features.
The convention center boasts over 1.4 million square feet of flexible meeting and event space designed to support social distancing for groups of various sizes. It leverages the surrounding 9-acres of magnificent public green space so groups can gather safely to conduct business and share experiences.
The Miami Beach Convention Center’s commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment does not stop there. The introduction of Health Ambassadors facilitates the entire event planning process. Simultaneously, the convention center staff participates in the City of Miami Beach MB Standard program for regular COVID-19 testing, health screenings, new physical, digital, permanent, and portable signage throughout the venue to reinforce CDC recommended practices.
