Aquarium
The centerpiece of Frost Science is the stunning, multilevel, 500,000-gallon aquarium. Meeting planners can orchestrate events here that snake through every level or choose the best space for their function. The 3,800-square-foot, ground-floor The Deep is a dramatic venue where guests can gaze through the aquarium's 31-foot oculus lens and watch the mysterious fish of the ocean above. It can be activated as a cocktail reception for 250, a banquet for 120 or a theater setup for 100 guests.
The adjacent 8,000-square-foot Ocean Gallery, with a huge viewing window into the aquarium, can also be utilized for larger galas. It accommodates 800 guests for a cocktail reception or 400 guests in a theater or banquet-style arrangement. Equipped with an interactive LED dance floor and wall-mounted LED screen with 4K displays that can be customized with your media, the Ocean Gallery is your spot for a high-tech, highly curated special event.
The aquarium's 7,000 square-foot The Dive level is ideal for a cocktail reception of 200 people or a banquet affair for 40. Here, guests can view the aquarium’s interactive vessels while they mix and mingle.
Planetarium
Frost Science's remarkable 250-seat planetarium is available for private presentations, movie screenings or lectures. A 67-foot theater screen powered by an 8K visual system using six 3D capable projectors with 16 million colors and surround sound provides a near-360-degree immersive experience. There’s also a 1,450-square-foot pre-function reception area that can be used for a cocktail party or dinner and accommodate 50 to 70 guests.
Conference & Breakout Rooms
Frost Science is also home to various flexible conference and breakout rooms with outdoor terraces boasting sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the Downtown Miami skyline. The largest is the 1,082-square-foot conference suite and terrace, which can be divided into two separate meeting rooms and accommodates 30 to 90 guests in various arrangements, including banquet, reception, theater, u-shape, classroom and boardroom.
There are also adaptable breakout rooms offering various sizes and configurations of meeting spaces ranging from 780 to 1,740 square feet, along with a 2,170-square-foot terrace for 30 to 75 attendees.

Outdoor Event Possibilities at Frost Science Museum
Aquarium Vista Level
The aquarium's open-air Vista rooftop is Frost Science's crown jewel. At 8,200 square feet, it's designed to represent the surface of South Florida's ecosystem and offers panoramic views. It can accommodate 500 guests for a cocktail reception or 100 guests for a banquet.
Rooftop Terrace
An additional 3,255-square-foot private rooftop terrace for up to 180 guests is also available. It's especially popular for happy hours, cocktail receptions and networking events.
Atrium
Frost Science's dramatic atrium entrance can also be activated for unique cocktail parties and receptions. The 8,590-square-foot elongated space is outdoors yet covered and can host up to 400 guests.
Museum Plaza
The museum plaza's ample outdoor grounds span 21,000 square feet and can host parties of up to 1,200 guests. The space can incorporate tents, making it ideal for festivals, concerts, outdoor performances and dancing.
