Meet In Miami's Faena District

By Amber Love Bond - August 24, 2026

Set along Collins Avenue from 32nd to 36th streets, the Faena District offers a seamless mix of hotels, performance venues, rooftop terraces and oceanfront spaces. There’s an extensive range of accommodations, gathering spaces and event options, all featuring attentive service, award-winning culinary talent and teams dedicated to producing exceptional experiences, all just steps from the Atlantic Ocean.

The district was conceived by visionary hotelier Alan Faena in collaboration with filmmaker Baz Luhrmann and designer Catherine Martin, resulting in an immersive environment where contemporary art, lavish interiors and theatrical expression are woven into every space. From large-scale conferences to intimate executive gatherings, the Faena District provides an inspiring backdrop for those seeking a location that feels both elevated and imaginative.

Hosting Your Meeting in the Faena District

Despite its theatrical atmosphere, it’s incredibly functional, with flexible layouts, advanced AV capabilities and turnkey in-house support that make the planning process smooth for organizers.

Located in the heart of Mid Beach, the Faena District is also highly accessible. It’s a short drive from Miami International Airport, minutes from the Miami Beach Convention Center and surrounded by popular dining, nightlife and cultural attractions. It’s a walkable neighborhood that provides attendees with plenty to explore before, between and after sessions.

    Faena Hotel Miami Beach

The 179-room Faena Hotel Miami Beach is the district’s glamorous centerpiece, offering oceanfront luxury marked by Art Deco elegance, dramatic interiors and curated hospitality. The hotel’s amenities include an expansive spa, award-winning restaurants by Francis Mallmann and Paul Qui, multiple lounges, a private screening room and generous beachfront access. Together, these elements create a polished, one-of-a-kind atmosphere for hosting meetings and events.

    Faena Forum

Faena Forum is the district’s architectural showpiece. This 43,000-square-foot landmark was designed by OMA/Rem Koolhaas. Capable of hosting up to 1,000 guests, the cylindrical venue features a dramatic central amphitheater clad in rose marble, 2 large exhibit halls, 5 breakout rooms and a spacious lobby complete with a built-in bar and coat check. Its striking design and flexibility make it an ideal setting for conferences, exhibitions, summits and high-impact brand launches.

    Faena Theater

For events with a more theatrical mood, Faena Theater offers a richly opulent environment inspired by European opera houses. Swathed in red velvet and gold leaf, and illuminated by a cascading crystal chandelier, the venue can accommodate 300 attendees for standing receptions or 118 guests for seated events, with additional capacity in the mezzanine, which also houses a secret omakase bar. It’s an unforgettable location for performances, keynote sessions, galas and intimate evening programs.

    La Cava

Executive dinners and VIP gatherings often find their home in La Cava, the hotel’s private wine cellar. With seating for 22 guests at a hand-carved table by Frank Pollaro and customizable multicourse menus, the space provides a refined, intimate setting for elevated culinary experiences.

    The Living Room

Planners seeking a stylish lounge atmosphere frequently turn to The Living Room, a well-appointed gathering space known for its craft cocktails, live entertainment and sleek design. With room for up to 125 people, it’s a popular choice for networking receptions and pre- or post-event socializing.

    Tierra Santa Studio

For smaller meetings, wellness-focused sessions and creative workshops, Tierra Santa Studio provides a bright and serene setting with ocean and city views. Adjacent to the Tierra Santa Healing House spa, the studio comfortably hosts 75 guests for receptions or 40 attendees for conference-style gatherings.

    Outdoor Venues

    The Faena Pool Deck

The hotel’s outdoor spaces allow event planners to harness the tropical beauty of Miami Beach. The Faena Pool Deck is an especially atmospheric choice for al fresco receptions and social gatherings, offering space for 200 guests with the unique option of using the asado pit (which can accommodate 75) for open-fire grilling and culinary demonstrations.

    Tree of Life

Adjacent to the pool sits the Tree of Life, a 3-story courtyard garden and open-air restaurant anchored by Damien Hirst’s gold-dipped woolly mammoth sculpture. Combined with the colorful Sun Bar, this 1,460-square-foot setting can host 100 guests (or 66 seated guests) and lends itself naturally to cocktail receptions, launch activations and outdoor celebrations.

    Faena Bazaar Terrace

For events that require both flexibility and ocean views, the fourth-floor Faena Bazaar Terrace provides an indoor-outdoor layout designed by OMA. It can accommodate groups of 200 or more and is a favorite for fashion presentations, creative activations and stylish private receptions.

The hotel’s restaurants offer distinctive culinary experiences for private dining and group events. Pao by Paul Qui pairs modern Asian flavors with dramatic design elements, including a golden unicorn sculpture by Damien Hirst. The space can accommodate 230 guests for cocktail receptions or 166 for seated dinners, making it ideal for upscale, culinary-driven programming.

    Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann

Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann celebrates South American live-fire cooking in a lavish dining room accented by deep red leather chairs and bold animal prints. With space for up to 250 guests and 200 seated guests, it’s a standout venue for group dinners, incentive events and atmospheric receptions.

    Veranda

Veranda, located just above the pool area, offers a relaxed setting with spectacular views. It’s well- suited for breakfast meetings, luncheons and casual networking events, and can be privatized in whole or in part, depending on group needs.

    Casa Faena Miami Beach

Just steps from the ocean, Casa Faena brings Spanish-Mediterranean charm to the district with 38 thoughtfully designed guestrooms and suites. Its intimate scale and warm decor make it an enticing option for small groups, off-site breakout programming or boutique-style meetings.

    Campo Casa Faena Restaurant

The Campo Casa Faena highlights fresh, sustainable cuisine influenced by Latin and New American flavors, offering a welcoming setting for group meals of up to 37 guests and relaxed gatherings. For ultra-intimate events, The Library provides seating for 10 guests in a cozy room lined with books and curated artwork, making it ideal for leadership dinners or private discussions.

    Campo Casa Faena Rooftop

One of the district’s most coveted spaces is the rooftop terrace above Campo Casa Faena – a 2,164-square-foot open-air venue with expansive ocean views. Able to host 150 guests, this hidden gem is perfect for sunset receptions, cocktail hours and celebratory evening events.

    The Atrium

The Atrium is at both rooftop and lobby level. It can host up to 120 seated guests and serves as a central social hub within Casa Faena, featuring plush sofas, site-specific art installations and a laid-back, residential aesthetic. It’s frequently used for welcome receptions, registration areas and informal meet-and-greets.

    Available Event Enhancements

Hosting an event in the Faena District allows planners to tap into numerous experiential add-ons, ranging from bespoke treatments at the 22,000-square-foot Tierra Santa Healing House to private culinary activations with award-winning chefs. Groups can incorporate yoga sessions, beach workouts or wellness programming to enhance retreats, while evening events can feature live performances or curated entertainment inside the Faena Theater.

Transportation is straightforward, with easy access to major transit routes and a central location that places guests near dining, nightlife, shopping and cultural institutions. With the district’s mix of venues, restaurants, outdoor areas and boutique and luxury hotels, event planners can design multi-faceted programs without ever leaving the neighborhood.

With its bold, artistic vision, luxurious hospitality and one-of-a-kind venues, the Faena District sets the stage for meetings and corporate events that resonate long after the final session concludes. Whether you need a dramatic, architecturally significant space for a thousand guests or a beautifully intimate room for a private dinner, the district offers endless ways to craft unforgettable experiences in the heart of Miami Beach.
