Meet In Miami's Faena District

La Cava's restaurant's hand carved table for 22 guests

Meet In Miami's Faena District

By Shayne Benowitz - September 18, 2023

Set in the heart of Miami Beach, the Faena District, stretching north on Collins Avenue from 32nd to 36th streets, overflows with intriguing meeting and event spaces perfect for hosting memorable affairs. The sky’s the limit when it comes to event planning. Discover this amazing district, which is known for providing luxurious experiences, then start planning your next meeting or event in Greater Miami & Miami Beach.

    About the Faena District

The brainchild of flamboyant Argentinean hotelier and developer Alan Faena, the Faena Hotel Miami Beach and its surrounding eight-block district is a fantastic world of contemporary art, lavish design, fine dining and whimsy. Developed in collaboration with filmmaker Baz Luhrmann and his Academy Award-winning designer wife, Catherine Martin, the district personifies an all-encompassing theatrical experience. With showstopping works of art by contemporary master Damien Hirst, a cathedral-like entrance hall with murals by Juan Gatti and a color palette dripping in luscious reds, golds, turquoise and animal prints, the Faena Hotel is surreal and luxurious.

    Meetings in the Faena District

Finding unique venues for meetings, corporate events, private events, social soirees and weddings is a breeze. Whether you’re looking to host a private dinner beneath glittering chandeliers inside the La Cava wine cellar or a larger event at the Rem Koolhaas-designed  Faena Forum, Faena provides a spectacular backdrop for unforgettable events of all sorts. With teams dedicated to culinary, art and live performance, Faena’s events department stands ready to help bring any event to life.

    Faena Forum

The 43,000-square-foot Faena Forum, designed by Rem Koolhaas’ OMA team led by architect Shohei Shigematsu, is a landmark cylindrical structure that serves as a center for entertainment or larger business events. Anchored by a central amphitheater, the space has five breakout rooms, two exhibit halls and a permanent bar and coat check area in the lobby. The Forum can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.

    Faena Theater

Awash in red velvet and gold leaf with a spectacular waterfall crystal chandelier, the Faena Theater hearkens back to opulent European Jazz Age cabarets. With a state-of-the-art stage, mezzanine level and an adjacent reception hall with the speakeasy-style El Secreto Omakase restaurant, the theater can be reserved for live performances, weddings, product launches and elegant receptions. The theater can host up to 300 people, or 118 seated, and its mezzanine can accommodate 100 people, 55 seated.

    Tierra Santa Studio

Cocktail & Dinner Parties in the Faena District

    Pao by Paul Qui

One of Faena’s greatest strengths is its culinary offerings curated by talented chefs, such as the James Beard Award recipient Paul Qui. His MICHELIN-recommended restaurant Pao by Paul Qui at the Faena Hotel is home to Damien Hirst’s golden unicorn statue and features buttery leather banquette seating, a gold dome ceiling and an adjacent terrace. The space can be reserved for cocktail receptions for up to 230 or seated dinners for up to 166 people. The cuisine is a fusion of Asian flavors supported by a first-rate wine program.

    Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann

Legendary Argentinean asado grillmaster Francis Mallmann is at the helm of Faena’s Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann. Its lavish dining room is outfitted with sumptuous red leather chairs and animal print banquettes, making it a beautiful and luxurious setting for a reception or dinner with a maximum capacity of 260 guests. Dine on a variety of meat, fish and vegetables prepared in the traditional open-fire kitchen.

    The Living Room

Adjacent to Los Fuegos and with a similar design scheme, The Living Room is Faena’s take on a traditional lobby bar. With a maximum capacity of 125 people, this cozy, intimate space can accommodate live entertainment. Its menu brims with craft cocktails and crudo and sushi hors d’oeuvres.

Campo at Casa Faena Restaurant Miami’s Rooftop at Casa Faena

Campo at Casa Faena restaurant is tucked into the boutique Casa Faena hotel. A little-known venue in the Faena District, its lovely, 2,164-square-foot rooftop terrace with panoramic ocean views is an ideal space for a sophisticated cocktail reception for up to 150 guests.

    La Cava

For a private dinner, the 558-square-foot La Cava wine cellar is an unparalleled option for a multicourse experience, including wine tastings, for up to 22 guests. The intimate venue, which features a stunning, hand-carved table by Frank Pollaro, offers a menu with items curated by the executive chef.
