Miami, FL - (Feb 19, 2025) - This spring in Greater Miami & Miami Beach, you can scoop up deals on cultural attractions and thrilling outdoor adventures. The new season brings freshly minted hotels and new culinary stars along with unique spas and family-friendly activities. Find out what’s new in Miami from March to May, when the weather is gorgeous and there’s always something fun and exciting to do.

    Attractions & Museum Months Deals

Spring is a prime time to enjoy Miami’s top attractions and outdoor adventures, and you can experience it all for less. During Miami Attractions & Museum Months, which runs from April to May, visitors will find culture-rich free museum days, two-for-one admissions, and slashed prices on heart-pounding, family-friendly experiences on both land and water. Choose your own adventure or feed your cultural curiosity.

    The Destination’s Newest Hotels

New hotels are springing up all over Miami. Andaz Miami Beach, formerly The Confidante, is set for a soft opening in March. Located in Mid Beach, it will delight with Art Deco vibes and an ocean-view check-in experience. Catering to a fun-loving, nightlife crowd, its beachfront will be dotted with bean bags, hammocks and daybeds.

The new Iberostar Waves Berkeley Shore in South Beach is housed in a 1940s Art Deco building, where you can dive into a rooftop pool and take in city views from your private balcony, while the boutique gem, Iberostar Waves Miami Beach caters to both families and business travelers.

Those looking to update their spring wardrobe while on vacation can check in to The Hotel At The Moore, located in the Miami Design District luxury shopping hub. With only 13 plush suites, the recently opened boutique hotel resembles a private residence and offers access to an on-property member’s only club and Elastika restaurant.

    Miami’s Newest Dining Hot Spots

Spring is blossoming with new restaurants in Miami. At Italian showstoppers like Donna Mare Italian Chophouse in Mid Beach and Rosemary’s in Wynwood, the focus is on the way food looks and how it tastes. Feel like you’ve been whisked away to the French Riviera at Claudie in Brickell, or join the well-heeled crowd at the new outpost of French favorite La Grande Boucherie in South Beach. Wyn Wyn at the Arlo Wynwood hotel focuses on fresh, sustainable cuisine. If you’re visiting Bayside Marketplace in Downtown Miami, check out newcomer La Canita for Cuban and Caribbean cuisine.

North Miami’s newest gem, Mutra, offers a bold, farm-to-table take on kosher cuisine from Chef Raz Shabtai, blending Levantine, Galilean, and Baladi influences with modern techniques. The intimate restaurant tempts diners with dishes like Beet 3 Ways Salad and 1 Perfect Falafel, alongside curated music and an open kitchen for a multisensory experience.

Look forward to the spring reopening Hereford Grill, a steakhouse near Miami International Airport that’s under new ownership and will offer open-fire cooking with cuts from Argentina and U.S. farms.

    New Miami Attractions

Escape room enthusiasts can test their wits and sleuthing skills in several immersive experiences at Escapology in CityPlace Doral, or fly like an astronaut in the new Zero Gravity room at the illusion-based Paradox Museum Miami in Wynwood.

Bring the kids to marvel at the creepy, crawly world of bug at the immersive Bugs experience through April 20 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Downtown Miami. At the neighboring Pérez Art Museum Miami, make time to view “The Days That Build Us”, a collection of video works from artists that explores human experiences that shape our identities and builds who we are. It opens May 31 and will run through June 2.

Music lovers can cozy up in the Living Room Bar of the W South Beach hotel and listen to weekly live music, including yacht rock, soulful blues and even country. Or fall in love with the athletic, graceful movements of the Miami City Ballet dancers during their Spring Mix performances March 28-30 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County in Downtown Miami.

Padel Has Its First Permanent Club In Miami

The two-story venue offers 10 professional indoor and outdoor courts along with two pickleball courts. There’s also a private wellness club and gym with perks like a cold plunge, steam room and sauna.

    Miami’s Newest Outdoor Escapes

Spring is the perfect time to get active outdoors. Take a leisurely stroll or bike ride on the newly restored Hobie Island North Beach Roadway, which has reopened with a protected bike and pedestrian lane that connects Hobie North and South beaches via the underpass of the William Powell Bridge on the Rickenbacker Causeway. The multiuse path runs along the waterfront and offers a beautiful view of the Miami skyline.

Furry friends have new dog-friendly places where they can play in in the sand. Along with Bark Beach in North Beach, dogs are now welcome on 21st Street in South Beach from 7-9 a.m. from November to March, 9-11 a.m. from April to October, and the same times on the beach at 53rd Street in Mid Beach.

Another new place worthy of a spa day is Hurrem Hammam Wellness & Spa in North Miami. This authentic Turkish hammam will wow you with its gorgeous hammam and plentiful amenities.

When you’re done with your spa session, make a beeline for nearby Aventura Mall in Aventura for some shopping. Florida’s largest mall flaunts all of the big-name brands, including stylish newcomers like on-trend footwear brand Dolce Vita, Steve Madden’s first U.S. mall store and the women’s luxury apparel store Cinq à Sept. John Hardy also opened its first permanent Miami jewelry store in the Miami Design District.

MSC Debuts The World’s Largest Cruise Terminal

If you’re looking to cruise from PortMiami, the high-tech MSC Seascape cruise ship is now saiing out of the new MSC Miami Cruise Terminal. It’s the first ship to call at the state-of-the-art facility that’s the largest cruise terminal in the world; it can hold three ships at a time.

New Ways To Fly To Miami

New flights to Miami International Airport will make it easier than ever to enjoy that spring vacation in Miami. The low-cost airline Frontier is launching daily nonstop service between MIA and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport beginning March 30. In June, another low-cost airline, Arajet, will offer nonstop flights between Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and MIA. And in October 2025, Icelandair will begin nonstop service between Reykjavik and MIA.

Exciting New Accessibility Features To Experience

The new Apple store at Miami WorldCenter in Downtown Miami flaunts sustainability and accessibility. The store’s design showcases sustainably sourced solid wood and low-carbon materials, and the layout features wide pathways for wheelchairs, assistive hearing systems and tables at varying heights.

Serene Lago Mar Park in Kendall is undergoing a $1.3 million renovation to make it more accessible. Expect an expanded fitness zone with new equipment, and ADA accessibility will also get a big upgrade.

Everyone is welcome in Greater Miami & Miami Beach, where accessible travel is a priority.
