Miami International Airport (MIA) serves as South Florida’s largest airport and the main US gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean - offering more flights to Latin America and the Caribbean than any other U.S. airport. It is America’s third-busiest airport for international passengers, boasts a lineup of over 100 air carriers and is the top U.S. airport for international freight.

Thanks to MIA’s centrally accessible location, getting to and from Downtown Miami and Miami Beach is a breeze. A free dedicated MIA Mover shuttle train to the Miami Intermodal transportation hub makes it easy for travelers to seamlessly connect to the auto rental center, Metrorail, Tri-Rail and bus terminal. Within the airport’s grounds, travelers can hop on the Sky Train to get from one concourse to another.
Need to kill some time? With free WiFi, over 120 retail shops (including duty-free shopping for international travelers), over 110 eateries, a permanent public artwork collection and rotating art exhibits, there’s plenty of ways to make the most of your layover or flight delay at MIA. In a nod to the city’s wellness trend, the airport also offers two spas where travelers can relax and unwind without having to leave the airport. Travelers that have to catch an early morning flight or arrive late can book a room at the Miami International Airport Hotel located right inside the airport terminal at Concourse E. Centrally located just seven miles from Downtown Miami, more than 40 million travelers pass through its gates annually. The Miami-Dade Aviation Department operates the Tourist Information Center located at Central Terminal E, level 2, near the airport's hotel.
