Heritage Dance Collective - Battle: Call to Dance

Dynamic movement and cultural expression take center stage as the 6th Annual Heritage Dance Collective honors the artistry of choreographer Robert Battle and South Florida’s dance community.

Battle: Call to Dance takes place Saturday, November 15 with performances at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center. The program features original works by leading local choreographers and dancers whose pieces reflect the power, rhythm and storytelling traditions that define contemporary and heritage dance.

Presented in the spirit of collaboration and community, the event celebrates the region’s rich cultural legacy while spotlighting the next generation of dance talent shaping South Florida’s creative landscape.
