Restaurants With Live Music
- April 10, 2025
Greater Miami & Miami Beach exudes vibrant sounds and an electric atmosphere. What better way to experience it than to go out to dinner and take in a live music performance? These restaurants offer great food and great live music. Discover flamenco in a secret bar, Latin dancing in a vibrant community gathering spot, and a music lounge with MICHELIN Guide chops.

Ball & Chain
Ball & Chain is a hub of the Little Havana neighborhood. This restored venue is a classic spot for live music and dancing. It offers live music every day and night beginning at noon, so daytime tourists and local partygoers can each find something to like. Daily events like Mambo Mondays, Bachata Tuesdays and Sabor Wednesdays offer dance classes for beginners and a whirlwind dance floor for pros. The food keeps the party going, with steak and potato pinchos, Cuban sandwich bites and lechon tacos.

Cafe La Trova
Cantineros mix perfect cocktails evocative of Old Havana while breaking out into dance as a live Cuban band takes the stage nightly at Little Havana’s Cafe La Trova. The food, scrupulously crafted by James Beard Award-winner Michelle Bernstein, is a Cuban culture cheat sheet, with everything from small bites like Cuban sandwich empanadas and ham croquetas with fig jam to classic arroz con pollo. Dine and chat between sets by the band.
Sala'o Cuban Restaurant & Bar
Little Havana is a center of Cuban history and culture, and Sala'o Cuban Restaurant & Bar captures the essence of both with food and dancing. The restaurant features live Havana Nights performances every day of the week, beginning at 8 p.m. The party goes until late in the evening on Saturdays and Sundays, and romantic music plays during Sunday Brunch. The food reflects the Cuban spirit, with croquetas and frituras de bacalao, pan con bistec sandwiches, and a wide selection of entrees with an emphasis on seafood.

Joia Beach
Joia Beach Restaurant and Beach Lounge is a sandy, secluded spot tucked along the water between Downtown Miami and South Beach. You’ll find a laid-back vibe as the music washes over you and you enjoy everything from Greek spreads and bright crudos to grilled fresh fish and an endless choice of cocktails. DJs are constantly spinning music at this day club, and local musicians perform acoustic sets right on the sand on Unplugged Fridays. A monthly Sounds of Tides series incorporates a live sunset drum performance.

Mayami
Mayami, in the heart of Wynwood, is a combination restaurant, nightclub and music venue. Enjoy shows by performers ranging from fire dancers to DJs and live musicians every night of the week, including late-night live bands on Sundays until midnight. The food ranges from bites like Kobe meatballs and shrimp tempura to crispy snapper, ribeye steaks and truffle pasta.
Amelia's 1931
Amelia’s 1931 is a hidden cocktail bar and restaurant in Kendall with a jazzy vibe. Chef Eileen Andrade, founder of nearby Finka Table & Tap, fuses Cuban, Peruvian and Korean flavors in thoughtful dishes like boniato gnocchi, Korean arroz con mariscos and lomo saltado risotto. Enjoy live flamenco on Wednesday evenings, live jazz on Thursday and Saturday evenings, and throwback music after 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
