Life Time 305 Half Marathon and 5K

Runners looking to pair coastal views with high-energy local flair will find both at this Miami-based race weekend. With a scenic course that highlights the beauty of the city and its shoreline, the Life Time 305 Half Marathon & 5K invites participants to experience the culture, color and rhythm of the 305 on foot.

Taking place Sunday, March 1, the event begins and ends at Lummus Park along Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach’s Art Deco District. The half marathon and 5K courses are designed to showcase the area’s waterfront landscapes and tropical surroundings. Both distances start early—6:15 a.m. for the half marathon and 6:30 a.m. for the 5K—so runners are encouraged to arrive early and plan ahead for road closures in the area.

305 Half Marathon

Formerly known as the 13.1 Miami Beach, the 305 Half Marathon now attracts over 4,000 participants each year with a race experience that emphasizes Miami’s unique energy. Registered runners receive a 305-themed medal, a unisex race shirt, free cafecito near the start line courtesy of Publix, and access to on-course and post-race experiences infused with local flavor.

305K

Those opting for the 5K—also known as the 305K—can expect a certified 3.1-mile route that winds through the residential and waterfront areas of Miami Beach before merging with the main event’s finish. Both races culminate at the Finish Festival in Lummus Park, which features music, sponsor booths, giveaways, games and local refreshments.

Finish Festival

The Finish Festival opens at 7:00 a.m. and includes entertainment from dueling DJs, product samples, sponsor activations and celebratory moments like the “Pots & Pans” station for those earning a personal record. Participants 21 and over can enjoy a complimentary beer at the Tank Brewing Beer Garden, while the Main Stage hosts an awards ceremony at 8:15 a.m.

Additional Race Information

On-site packet pickup and gear check begin at 5:00 a.m., with cutoff times shortly before each race start. Review the race schedule to plan your itinerary. While limited race day packet pickup is available, participants are advised to arrive early to ensure a smooth start.
