Location: Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC)
Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $18.90

As a Public Safety Supervisor, you’ll lead a dedicated team ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and partners at the MBCC. This hands-on role oversees security operations, patrols, and event readiness—maintaining a secure environment during conventions, trade shows, and major events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support security staff during assigned shifts.
• Conduct shift briefings, review checklists, and ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee building access control and key card management.
• Monitor and maintain security equipment inventory.
• Provide high-quality customer service to guests and staff.
• Ensure fire safety system awareness and emergency response readiness.
• Complete incident reports and communicate with Public Safety management.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and first responders when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 3+ years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in public assembly facilities highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of security control systems, fire safety, and emergency protocols.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Florida Class D Security License and valid driver’s license required.
