The Role
The Sr. Manager, Sales & Partnerships leads local, non-digital marketing and revenue for MOIC Miami—owning $1.3M in annual revenue via partnerships, community ticket sales, group bookings, and grassroots activations. As the Museum’s local face, you’ll build B2B relationships, drive awareness, and develop creative sales strategies that convert.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute local partnership, group sales, and ticketing strategy to meet/exceed a $1.3M annual target.
- Build/manage pipelines across hotels, event planners, corporate clients, tour operators, concierges, schools, and community groups.
- Create/manage an ambassador & influencer network; plan FAMs, client mixers, and partner activations.
- Lead grassroots outreach and street team presence at community/tourism events.
- Track offline revenue in a CRM; analyze ROI and optimize tactics; manage local sales budget (≤25% of attributed revenue).
- Align with GM and HQ marketing on messaging, timing, and readiness; coordinate group bookings with ops for seamless execution.
- Be onsite 3+ days/week during launch/peak; available for evening/weekend events as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in sales, marketing, or business development in attractions, hospitality, events, or tourism.
- Proven B2B lead gen, deal closing, and target-beating track record.
- Polished presenter; confident leading partner meetings and events.
- Deep Miami market knowledge (seasons, hospitality players, event calendars).
- CRM fluency (HubSpot, Salesforce) and data-driven optimization skills.
- Highly organized, creative, and collaborative; able to independently run programs.
- Must reside in the Miami market (or be willing to relocate).
Nice-to-Haves
- Existing relationships with Miami hotels, DMCs, tourism boards.
- Experience building ambassador/influencer or grassroots programs from scratch.
- Background selling parties, venue rentals, or team-building events.
- Spanish fluency or multilingual skills; venue opening/market launch experience.
- Passion for playful, immersive experiences and the joy of ice cream.
