
Assistant Manager - Narbona Key Biscayne

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable restaurant performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence, staff development, financial performance, and customer satisfaction while upholding brand values and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Assist in daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support inventory management, maintaining stock levels and cost control.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
Staff Management
- Assist in recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating restaurant staff.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work culture.
- Help manage shift schedules and labor costs in line with budget goals.
Customer Service
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and overall experience.
Financial Management
- Assist in budget preparation and financial performance monitoring.
- Support reporting, analysis, and cost-control initiatives.
- Help implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and correct safety issues promptly.
- Train staff on safety procedures and standards.
Marketing & Promotion
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
- Coordinate with marketing teams on special events and campaigns.
Strategic Planning
- Assist in developing and implementing operational policies.
- Contribute to the restaurant’s long-term strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in restaurant management with proven supervisory experience.
- Skills: Leadership, communication, financial acumen, and proficiency in restaurant management software and MS Office.
Work Environment
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $58,000 per year

Requirements
- 5 years of restaurant management experience (preferred)
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (required)
- Food Safety Certification (required)
