On Wednesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m., Books & Books in Coconut Grove hosts 3/ode/5 Day, featuring artist and illustrator Melissa Gutierrez presenting her debut children's book, Westofchester's ABCs of Miami.
This free event showcases the first children's book published by O, Miami, offering a bilingual journey through the Magic City's iconic locations. Gutierrez, a senior designer at Adobe known for her distinctive Miami-focused artwork on Instagram as WestofChester, brings her artistic vision to the pages of this alphabetical exploration.
The picture book guides readers from A to Ñ to Z, capturing Miami's essence through carefully crafted illustrations that bridge past and present. Each page celebrates familiar landmarks while inviting both longtime residents and newcomers to discover hidden gems throughout the city.
