4th of July: South Beach

Live classical music and fireworks over the shoreline anchor Miami Beach’s Independence Day celebration in South Beach. The annual event takes place Saturday, July 4 at Lummus Park, the beachfront park along Ocean Drive.
The South Beach program, listed by the City as Independence Day Fireworks & Patriotic Concert, is presented by the Ocean Drive Association in partnership with the City of Miami Beach and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. The evening begins at 8:30 p.m. with an orchestra performance by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival near Ocean Drive and 12th Street.
The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m., accompanied by live classical music along the beach. Attendees may bring beach chairs, blankets and picnic fare, or make reservations at nearby alfresco restaurants along Ocean Drive.
