AfriKin Fashion Week Workshops
Dec 06, 2025
From: Noon
Designers from across Africa and its diaspora bring bold statements of resilience and heritage to the runway at the Scott Galvin Community Center. Blending ancestral silhouettes with avant-garde forms, the show pays tribute to the spirit of the women of Nder, where fabrics steeped in royal traditions and patterns echoing revolutionary struggle transform into garments that embody beauty, empowerment and cultural legacy.
AfriKin Fashion Week Workshops takes place on Saturday, December 6 at noon, where participating designers share their inspirations, techniques and creative philosophies. Together, the workshops and runway affirm fashion’s role as both industry and ceremony, shaping narratives of memory, resistance and possibility.
