Join The Cleveland Orchestra and New World Symphony Fellows with Stéfane Denève at the podium as they join forces to perform Richard Strauss' monumental (and final) tone poem, An Alpine Symphony. Marveling at nature from the perspective of a climbing party's alpine ascent and descent, Strauss unleashes the full potential of symphonic writing in this thrilling 100+ piece orchestral work. The performance also features Schumann's Cello Concerto. Scheduled shows take place on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18.
