An Evening with Alex Dimitrov and Nicole Tallman takes place Friday, April 25 at Books & Books in Coral Gables, featuring Dimitrov's latest collection Ecstasy: Poems (Knopf).
The author will discuss his fearless exploration of urban life, sexuality, spirituality and cultural norms through poetry that critics have praised for its candid intimacy. Miami-Dade County Poetry Ambassador Nicole Tallman moderates the conversation, bringing her expertise as a poet and editor to the discussion.
The free event, presented by the Books & Books Literary Foundation, offers attendees an opportunity to hear from one of contemporary poetry's distinctive voices as he examines life in New York City, personal transformation and the intersection of pleasure and faith in the modern era. Copies of Ecstasy will be available for purchase at the venue.
