Steel drum sounds with a seasonal twist bring Caribbean flair to Miami Beach as Steel Away performs at the 2nd Annual Reggae Steel Band Xmas in Lummus Park.
The free concert takes place Sunday, December 7 as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series. Trinidadian musicians Fitzroy “Fox” Alleyne, Gail Clarke-Alleyne, and their son Kobie Alleyne lead the ensemble, known for blending traditional steelpan music with a modern edge.
Held on the lawn between 14th Street and 14th Place, the series invites audiences to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets for an evening of live music by the ocean. In case of rain, the performance will move indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
