As part of the 37th International Hispanic Theater Festival of Miami, Teatro Avante presents a theater adaptation of Cae la Noche Tropical (Tropical Night Falling), a poignant novel written by celebrated Argentinian author Juan Manuel Puig. Set in Rio de Janeiro, the play tells the story of two elderly Argentine sisters who share a life of gentle gossip. Through their conversations, Puig reveals the chaotic, violent lives of their neighbors.
