Revel in the sights, sounds and movement of Trinidad and Tobago's festive Carnival celebration at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) on Thursday, June 22. In celebration of Caribbean Heritage Month, the PAMM Caribbean Cultural Institute presents Carnival: The Sound of a People by Etienne Charles, a high-energy performance that brings the street energy of Trinbagonian Carnival to the stage. The multi-sensory performance mixes multimedia, traditional carnival characters and live music by the band Creole Soul to bring to life original compositions by trumpeter, percussionist, and composer Etienne Charles.
Following the performance, the celebration continues on the waterfront terrace with Caribbean sounds and beats with by Akia Dorsainvil aka DJ Pressure Point.
