Clean Miami Beach & Life Time Foundation Beach Cleanup

Help protect Miami Beach’s shoreline and make a difference in your community with a hands-on beach cleanup. On Saturday, February 1, from 10 a.m. to noon, Clean Miami Beach invites volunteers of all ages to join efforts in preserving the local environment.
Participants will meet oceanfront, near the lifeguard tower behind Nikki Beach, where cleanup supplies, including sanitized gloves, buckets, bags and pickers, will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable water containers (refill stations available) and wear closed-toed shoes for working along the dunes. Reef-safe sun protection, including a hat, is also recommended.
Limited metered parking is available at 101 Ocean Drive. Community service hours are offered for those who arrive on time. This family-friendly event is co-hosted by the Life Time Foundation and the City of Miami Beach. Look for the turtle flag to join the cleanup.
