Cleanup, Kayak, and Connect

Combine volunteering with outdoor recreation at Cleanup + Kayak + Connect at East Greynolds Park in North Miami Beach. Hosted by One Love Foundation, Shark Gang and Trashy Girl Collective, this community gathering celebrates Shark Gang’s adoption of the park while helping care for its natural spaces and surrounding waterways. The event takes place Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning with a park cleanup. Afterward, volunteers can enjoy free kayaking and paddleboarding, explore the park and connect over a potluck-style celebration. Some food and beverages will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring something to share. Bring sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, comfortable outdoor shoes and clothing suitable for getting wet. Garden gloves are encouraged if available. RSVP in advance to participate.
