Dive into the world of contemporary Argentinian theater with El Brote (The Break). As part of Teatro Avante’s 38th International Hispanic Theater Festival of Miami, this thought-provoking play explores the blurring lines between fiction and reality.
Presented by Compañía Criolla from Buenos Aires, El Brote follows the story of an actor grappling with a disturbing question: is he living his own life, or is he merely a character in someone else’s script? Written and directed by Emiliano Dionisi, this production has taken the Argentinian theater scene by storm, captivating audiences and critics alike.
El Brote takes place at the Koubek Center on Thursday, July 18, Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, with all performances starting at 8:30 p.m.
