Italian pianist Sandro Ivo Bartoli brings a program of Schubert, Scarlatti and Liszt to the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center. Known for his sweeping achievement of recording all 500-plus Scarlatti sonatas during the 2020 pandemic, Bartoli approaches this repertoire with both technical command and interpretive depth.
The evening features Schubert’s Four Impromptus D 899, a selection of 10–15 Scarlatti sonatas and Liszt’s Two Legends along with the Grosses Konzertsolo. Presented as part of the FIU Herbert and Nicole Wertheim School of Music 2025-2026 season, FIU Piano Concert: Sandro Ivo Bartoli takes place Friday, October 17.
