FIU Women Who Lead Conference

Professional development and intergenerational dialogue take center stage at Florida International University's signature women's leadership event. The 18th annual FIU Women Who Lead Conference returns to the GC Ballrooms on Wednesday, March 19, focusing on the theme Women Making Waves in Leadership.

This full-day conference brings together students, faculty, professionals and community members to explore how women are expanding traditional roles and challenging societal expectations across various fields. The program includes targeted panel discussions examining leadership journeys, barriers in male-dominated industries and strategies for professional advancement.

Key sessions include Success Between the Glass Ceiling and Sticky Floor, which explores how women leaders navigate workplace challenges, and Forging HER Pathway, featuring women who have established themselves in traditionally male-dominated spaces. A structured mentoring circle provides networking opportunities and practical guidance for career development.
