Filmmakers take their stories from concept to completion in this advanced creative lab at FilmGate Miami’s Downtown Media Center, designed to transform outlines into fully realized narratives.
Building on From Nothing to Outline: A Filmmaker’s Improv Lab, the workshop uses improvisation to refine structure, expand character development and craft authentic dialogue and stage direction. Participants collaborate in an interactive setting to strengthen storytelling instincts and leave with a near-complete blueprint for their next project.
From Outline to Action: A Filmmaker’s Story Lab takes place Saturday, November 8 at FilmGate Miami’s Downtown Media Center. A pre-written outline is required; coffee, tea and snacks will be provided.
