The Route 1804 Foundation presents an evening of African culture on Friday, October 25 at the Choubak Little Haiti Visitor Center and Garden. This event celebrates African heritage through storytelling, poetry and music, drawing on the griot tradition - known for preserving history and culture through oral storytelling.
Enjoy performances by Kevin Clarence, YVNG JU and Micah Bournes, whose words and rhythms will honor the ancestors and highlight the connections between past and present. Attendees are invited to reflect on the stories that shape our shared history in an immersive, soulful experience.
