Little Havana Social Club

The Koubek Center presents the Little Havana Social Club: Tambores III at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 24. Tambores III is a new installment in a series that travels through Latin America and the Caribbean, paying homage to the areas' African origins and variations of rhythms influenced by the region's diverse geography, economy, religious beliefs and colonial history.

Featuring musical talents such as Mofongo de Plena, Jah Steve and the Counteract Band, the Delou African Dance Ensemble, Jacob Henriquez and La Herencia Tipica, Tambores III offers a vibrant journey through merengue, bachata, reggae and African dance traditions. Renowned Latin Grammy-nominated musician, producer and DJ, Mr. Pauer, will serve as the evening's host.
