The program opens with Beethoven's Rondino for Winds. This piece offers a gentle introduction by the winds, showcasing their beautiful sonorities. The afternoon continues with a diverse selection of works by Janáček, Águila and Tilson Thomas, highlighting the versatility and expressive range of wind and brass instruments. The evening concludes with Michael Tilson Thomas's lively Street Song for brass.
