Enjoy an evening of innovative contemporary dance with Dance NOW! Miami's presentation of Clara, an adults only, reimagined adaptation of the Nutcracker on Saturday, December 10 at Miami Theater Center. DNM's Clara charts the journey of a young woman, exploring and experiencing the exotic, the unknown and the forbidden, in search of love, identity and self determination. The holiday classic will feature a score from Berlin-based composer Davidson Jaconello, drawn from the original Tchaikovsky music with costumes from the Morales sisters. Also on the bill, international collaborator Opus Ballet from Florence will be joining DNM for their US debut.
