Trumpeter Sean Jones brings his expressive range and deeply rooted musical vision to UM Gusman Concert Hall for a high-impact collaboration with the Frost Jazz Orchestra.

Part of the Frost Music Live 2025–2026 Signature Series, Sean Jones & Frost Jazz Orchestra features the acclaimed performer and educator alongside director John Daversa and one of the university’s premier large ensembles. Known for his soaring solos and spiritual intensity, Jones has performed with legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, and served as lead trumpeter for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. His appearance at Frost highlights both his artistry and his commitment to mentorship, pairing virtuosic improvisation with a collaborative spirit.
