Season Opener: Denève Conducts Debussy and Britten

New World Symphony kicks off their 36th season with a mesmerizing program that draws inspiration from Miami Beach's blue skies and waters. Helmed by artistic Director Stéphane Denève, NWS will transport audiences to the shores of Spain, France, Africa, the U.S. and Britain with works by Ibert, Debussy, Hailstork and Britten. The performance culminates with Claude Debussy's brilliant orchestral work La mer accompanied by video art curated by Denève.
