Sunday Stories: Celebrating Autism Acceptance Month
This event has passed.
An inclusive toddler art adventure awaits at MOCA. On Sunday, April 7, join the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) North Miami for a special edition of Sunday Stories, presented in celebration of Autism Acceptance Month.
Designed for toddlers, this engaging workshop allows young children to explore their artistic talents while celebrating neurodiversity. Inspired by the work of Scottish artist Jane Francis, participants will create vibrant artwork using oil pastels and watercolors. The session will also incorporate a reading of the heartwarming children's book, "My Brother Charlie" by Holly Robinson Peete and Ryan Elizabeth Peete.
Sunday Stories is an ideal opportunity for toddlers to develop their reading comprehension, motor skills and social interaction in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
