Gather under the stars at SoundScape Park for Miami Beach’s favorite outdoor cinema series every Wednesday night through May 31. Presented by the City of Miami Beach, the Soundscape Cinema Series returns for its 14th edition to enrich and connect the community through the art of cinema. Bring something comfortable to sit on, whether it be a lawn chair or blanket, and get ready to enjoy top notch films on the New World Center’s soaring 7,000 square foot projection wall.
For the free October 25 screening, the cinema series presents the 2023 live action remake of the classic 1989 animated Disney film The Little Mermaid, directed by Rob Marshall and starring Halle Bailey, Javier Bardem and Jonah Hauer-King. The film follows a young, adventurous mermaid, Ariel, who desperately wants to experience life on land and meet the dashing Prince Eric.
