Miami Film Festival and Variety present an exclusive evening honoring acclaimed actor, writer, and director Ethan Hawke with Variety’s Virtuoso Award at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus Auditorium.
The program features an in-depth conversation between Hawke and Variety’s Co-Editor in Chief Ramin Setoodeh, exploring the artist’s remarkable career spanning more than three decades. From his breakout role in Dead Poets Society and cult favorite Reality Bites to his acclaimed performances in Richard Linklater’s Before trilogy, Boyhood and Training Day, Hawke’s body of work reflects a rare blend of depth, versatility and creative daring.
A four-time Academy Award nominee, Hawke has also earned recognition as a writer, director, producer, musician and novelist, continually redefining the boundaries of storytelling across mediums.
The event takes place Sunday, November 2 at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus Auditorium, as part of the Miami Film Festival GEMS lineup.
