A Morning With Ana Siqueira takes place Sunday, August 10 at Books & Books in Coral Gables. Siqueira will read from Vera La Valiente Is Scared (Beaming Books, $18.99), a humorous and heartwarming tale about a young girl who appears fearless—until her class field trip is set for a roller coaster-filled theme park. As Vera navigates her fear, she learns that bravery isn’t about hiding your feelings, but facing them. Admission is free, and books will be available for purchase at the event. Siqueira, a Spanish-language educator and award-winning children’s author, is also known for Bella’s Recipe for Disaster/Success and Abuela’s Super Capa.
