On Wednesday, October 23, Abstract Citizen takes the stage as part of the Adrienne Arsht Center’s Live on the Plaza concert series. Led by Miami native and guitarist Aaron Lebos, this jazz group is known for pushing musical boundaries by blending modern jazz with Peruvian folk and bluegrass influences.
Lebos, an active figure in the South Florida music scene, is joined by a talented ensemble of musicians, including Vania Junco on vocals, Marty Quinn on bass, Lucas Apostoleris on drums and Martin Bejerano on piano. All graduates of the University of Miami's esteemed jazz program, the group regularly performs at local venues like Lagniappe House and The Fish House.
The outdoor concert takes place at the Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts, with doors opening at 6 p.m. for light bites and beverage service.
