Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at the Hyundai Air & Sea Show

The Hyundai Air & Sea Show returns to South Beach for its fourth annual celebration over Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-24, 2020. Known as “the greatest show above the earth,” head to the beach and simply look up to enjoy an impressive aerial show of America’s military might. Think Blue Angels, Stealth Bombers and the US Army’s Golden Knights Parachute team. The Air & Sea Show highlights the strength and ingenuity of all five branches of America’s military. You’ll also enjoy the spectacle of offshore powerboat racing, extreme watersports demos, food and drink vendors and live music and entertainment at Lummus Park on Ocean Drive.

The Air & Sea Show

Designed as a national salute to America’s heroes, the brave men and women of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, as well as our nation’s first responders, The Air & Sea Show is a patriotic celebration perfect for Memorial Day Weekend in Miami. Watch from the beach in awe as America’s finest military equipment takes flight. You’ll witness a death-defying aerial show featuring the famed Blue Angels, as well as Stealth Bombers, Lancer Bombers, HH60 Helicopters, Fighting Falcons and more as they perform stunts above Miami’s sparkling turquoise Atlantic Ocean.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Army’s Black Dagger parachute team, Navy Leap Frogs and the Coast Guard Sea Rescue chopper, as well as the Tuskegee Airmen Redtail Squadron and Heritage Flight team. In addition to the spectacle in the air, the water will host high-octane power boat races, US Customs drug interdiction demos and more extreme watersports.

Music Explosion Stage & The Beach Club

When the Air & Sea Show winds down on Sunday afternoon, the Music Explosion stage at The Beach Club on Lummus Park heats up. To close out the festivities, a special concert with performances by the US Air Force Max Impact Band, the US Army Band and the US Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team begins at 4:30 p.m. The concert headliner will be announced soon. With last year’s headliner Flo Rida, it’s sure to be an exciting name. The grand finale show culminates with a special nighttime pyro-parachute demonstration by the Army’s Golden Knights Parachute team and a spectacular fireworks extravaganza.

For a VIP experience over the weekend, you can purchase tickets to access the Beach Club zone at show center where you’ll enjoy live music and the Salute Zone’s private concession with high-end spirits, ice cold beer and an all American BBQ.

Action Zone, Display Village & Kid Zone

For an interactive, hands-on experience during the Air & Sea Show that’s free and open to the public, head to the Action Zone & Display Village at Lummus Park on Ocean Drive. Check out the motocross demonstration and Timberwork’s Lumberjack Show. Spanning four city blocks, the Display Village features Air Force flight and navigation simulators, Army tactical training equipment, Marine Corps rifle range simulators and other displays where you can meet the men and women of our armed forces. There’s even a Kids Zone with waterslides, military-themed bounce houses and face painting.
