Alhambra Orchestra: Hispanic Heritage Concert Celebration

The Alhambra Orchestra kicks off their new season with a tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 at the Sanctuary of the Arts. Led by Conductor Daniel Andai, the orchestra will perform works by Lecuona, Rodrigo, Sarasate, Tarrega and more.
The program features soloist Koh Kazama, a professor at New World School of the Arts, performing the Guitar Concerto by Villa-Lobos. Additionally, flutist Carol Naveira-Nicholson and violinists Steffen Zeichner and Daniel Andai showcase their talents in pieces by Rodrigo and Sarasate, respectively. Rousing popular Latin melodies round out this celebratory program.
The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, dedicated to promoting live classical performances and music education.
