On Thursday, June 19, Books & Books in Coconut Grove will host an evening with Daniela Jean in celebration of her new book, From Rookie to Rockstar: Lessons in Leadership, Service, and Purpose. This author talk and signing coincides with Juneteenth, honoring the continued pursuit of equity and empowerment in American life.
Drawing from her experiences as an educator, city commissioner and community advocate, Jean’s book explores how resilience, vision,and service can fuel lasting transformation. The event offers attendees the opportunity to hear firsthand reflections from the author, ask questions and connect around themes of civic engagement and personal development.
The program is open to the public and will take place at the Coconut Grove location of Books & Books. Copies of the book will be available for purchase on-site.
