Armin van Buuren Presents The Orb

Trance and immersive audiovisual production converge as Armin van Buuren brings his large-scale The Orb show to Factory Town for its Miami debut. Taking place Saturday, October 10, the event also marks the Dutch DJ and producer’s first performance at the Hialeah venue, with Funk Tribu and NRG2000 rounding out a lineup that connects established trance with a new generation of rave-influenced club music.

A longtime central figure in global trance and co-founder of Armada Music, van Buuren has built his career around productions, festival performances and the A State of Trance radio and event platform. The Orb represents a newer chapter of his live work: a high-tech, multisensory touring production built around a large illuminated spherical structure surrounding the DJ, with synchronized light, motion graphics and cinematic visuals integrated into the set.

Colombian-born, Berlin-based Funk Tribu brings a retro-futurist approach shaped by the trance, techno and rave sounds of the 1990s and early 2000s. Known for his breakout track “Phonky Tribu,” he has become a prominent figure in the current nu-trance movement, with recent work including the 2026 LIFE EP. NRG2000 is the high-energy trance alias of Dutch producer Ruben de Ronde, created as an outlet for his affinity for early-2000s rave sounds and old-school trance. The project has included collaborations with Ferry Corsten and sets built around that faster, nostalgia-driven side of his musical identity.
