Artists, writers and cultural leaders gather for a weekend of dialogue, creativity and connection in celebration of Juneteenth and the power of artistic expression.
Artists Echo Networking takes place June 19, 20 and 22 from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. in the Piano Bar at The Betsy – South Beach. Part of the larger Art: By Any Means Necessary Juneteenth initiative, these evening gatherings offer an opportunity to meet and engage with visiting artists participating in the multi-venue celebration. Writers in residence and featured creatives—including Boss Blow, Florence Naprix and Guy-Robert Yves-Mary Barjon—will be present alongside series director Rachelle Salnave.
The informal setting of Jazz at The Betsy provides a backdrop for meaningful conversation and cultural exchange. Hosted in partnership with The Miami Foundation, Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation CreARTE grant program, FIU Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab and Art of Black Miami, this initiative fosters access to diverse voices working at the intersection of arts and social change.
