Black in Bloom

Music, art and collective vision come together in a community gathering that closes out Black August with celebration and creativity. Guests can take part in bouquet-making, an open mic and the creation of a collaborative “Little Haiti Vision Map” reflecting ideas for the neighborhood’s future.

Black in Bloom takes place Sunday, August 31 at Lakou in Little Haiti. Presented by Sustain the Culture, the event invites participants to dance, mingle and imagine a thriving, resilient community through joy and connection.
