Explore figure drawing in a relaxed, creative setting during a series of all-ages art sessions at Books & Books in Coral Gables.
The Books & Books: Summer Haven Series runs Mondays, July 14, 21 and 28, featuring self-guided figure drawing hosted by Raw Figs. Each evening includes a variety of timed poses led by a minimally clothed or costumed model. Materials are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though guests are encouraged to bring their own supplies.
Open to all ages and experience levels, this community-centered event invites participants to sketch at their own pace while enjoying the atmosphere of one of Miami’s most iconic independent bookstores. A suggested donation of $20 (or pay what you can) helps support Raw Figs’ ongoing programming, including supplies, staffing and artist compensation.
The session takes place indoors, with food and beverages available for purchase from the venue. Metered street parking and a nearby garage are available. Please note: this is a documented event—notify staff if you prefer not to be photographed.
