A community gathering awaits as artists and advocates come together to share ideas and explore collective action for social change. Building Power: Closing Celebration takes place on Saturday, April 12, at Green Space Miami.
This event marks the final day of the group exhibition UNVEILING POWER: Examining Influence, which features works from ten Miami-based artists: Josh Aronson, Tony Chirinos, John DeFaro, Cara Despain, Chris Friday, Ọmọlará Williams McCallister, Sheherazade Thenard, Pangea Kali Virga, Mai Yap and Alexander Zastera.
Attendees can expect an engaging program of speakers, performances and collaborative activities, followed by a reception with refreshments. The celebration is co-presented by Green Space Miami and Miami Freedom Project, highlighting their commitment to fostering dialogue about community empowerment.
The event is free and open to all.
