Churchill's Pub Grand Re-Opening
Sep 05, 2025
Starting: 8:30 PM
The return of an underground landmark is marked by a free night of raw rock, punk and experimental sounds at Churchill’s Pub in Little Haiti.
Churchill Pub’s Grand Re-Opening: Revenant Night takes place Friday, September 5, with doors opening at 8:30 p.m. The lineup includes Miss Michigan, the Miami band led by former NYC rocker Gus Saenz whose glam-punk single Bang Ur Drummer was produced by Grammy-winner Warren Riker; Adhesive, a Swedish punk band reunited after a cult following in the 1990s; and local acts Tess Grey and Bruvvy.
Founded in 1979, Churchill’s earned a reputation as a “dive-bar cathedral of noise,” hosting more than 20,000 bands and becoming a hub for punk, goth and experimental music. Its reopening signals a new chapter with monthly showcases and cross-genre programming that continue its legacy as a stage for fearless artistry. The event is 21+ and admission is first-come, first-served.
